History
“Geraoni Marnelaki S.A.” is a family business started in 1949 by Charalambos Marnelakis, who owned two trucks for transport within Crete. After two decades, the business expanded to the rest of Greece, and in 1978 his son took over its management, equipping the trucks with cranes to meet the needs of industries and constructions.
Since then, the business has continued to upgrade its fleet based on the experience and know-how it has gained, and in 2015 added a Liebherr LTM 1300 to its collection, the largest crane it owns today.

In 1978 his son, anticipating the needs of industry and construction, evolved the simple truck into a crane-carrying vehicle. So they began to plan the long-term supply of the appropriate means and vehicles.

The ever-increasing needs for more cranes and heavy machinery played a role in the further development of the family business. Since then, year after year, the fleet began to grow with criteria dictated by the combination of the acquired experience and the corresponding know-how that led the Company in 2015 to acquire a Liebherr LTM 1300, the flagship of “Marnelaki Cranes S.A.”
